About little bad wolf
Proudly local. Endlessly Mediterranean. Unapologetically bold.
Where It All Began – Noble Park
Every great story starts small. Ours began in 2018 in the heart of Noble Park.
What started as a small Middle Eastern takeaway soon grew into something bigger: a home for bold flavours, long nights, and big dreams.
From the first taste of Moroccan Chicken, Rainy knew there was something special. Alongside her brother Kartik and her husband Simon, she took a leap of faith and made the business her own.
Those early days were tough, and then came the challenges of COVID. Sales dipped, hours were long, and balancing business with motherhood wasn’t easy. We kept showing up, even when we were exhausted, because stopping wasn’t an option. Too much was at stake, and we were determined to make it work.
With hard work, creativity, and faith in our community, the little shop was transformed. Noble Park became a vibrant dine-in space where locals could connect, share, and enjoy bold Mediterranean flavours made with heart.
The Sibling Dynamic
At the core of Little Bad Wolf are two siblings: Rainy and Kartik. They share one vision (and occasionally an argument or two).
Rainy leads the brand, people, and customer experience. Kartik commands the kitchen, where flavour meets precision. They challenge each other constantly, but their shared love for great food and community always brings them back together.
That balance of passion and chaos is what keeps Little Bad Wolf real.
A New Chapter – Croydon
In April 2024, our journey took a bold new step with the opening of Little Bad Wolf Croydon, a modern, casual space that redefines Mediterranean dining.
Here, the warmth of Noble Park meets a fresh, contemporary energy: cosy outdoor seating, signature cocktails, and a menu made for sharing and socialising.
It’s not just another restaurant; it’s the next chapter in our story, built on the same spirit, soul, and unapologetic flavour that started it all.
Our Mission
To serve bold, high-quality Mediterranean food that brings people together.
No shortcuts, no pretence—just heart, flavour, and fresh ingredients made with care.
Food that feels as good as it tastes, shared with the people who matter most.
Our Values
At Little Bad Wolf, we live by what matters most:
Family – our foundation, in and out of the kitchen.
Community – the reason we’re here and the heart of every dish we serve.
Quality & Flavour – from fresh ingredients to the final plate, every detail matters.
Creativity – re-imagining Mediterranean food for today while staying true to our roots.
Heart – the ingredient that ties it all together.
From Rainy
From our roots in Noble Park to our new home in Croydon, Little Bad Wolf has grown naturally through passion, teamwork, and the incredible people who’ve supported us from the very beginning.
Seven years in, and it still doesn’t feel like work. I wake up every day excited to create, to lead, and to keep pushing Little Bad Wolf forward with our fantastic team.
Balancing two restaurants, family life, and everything in between can be tough. Still, I’m grateful every day for the people who make it possible—my husband, my brother, our team, and our loyal customers who’ve become part of the family.
The business can be unpredictable at times, full of highs, lows, and lessons, but that’s what running a business is all about. It’s never perfect, but it’s always worth it.
Little Bad Wolf isn’t just a restaurant; it’s my passion, my creative outlet, and a story built on food, faith, and family.
It’s hard work, sleepless nights, and working around the clock, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Watching it grow from a tiny takeaway to two thriving spaces filled with laughter, energy, and community makes me proud beyond words.
Here’s to good food, good people, and the journey still ahead.
